Whether or not your school participates in
state and/or local standardized testing, as a teacher you are still
required to assess your student’s progress (or lack thereof). Formal and informal
assessments provide the kind of insight that good teachers know are the
key to planning effective lessons. In this section we have insha’Allah
gathered resources to help you find out what your students ‘Zone of
proximal development (ZPD)’ is and other formal&informal assessments that will insha'Allah enable you to meet your students where they're at and move
them on from there insha'Allah.
